Short description:

Sustainable Building in Steel (SB_Steel) project invites professionals from construction and manufacturing sectors as well as researchers to a public presentation on sustainable steel-intensive building projects. SB_Steel is a joint European R&D project funded by the Research Fund for Coal and Steel RFCS aiming to promote steel-intensive solutions in early phases of new or renovation building projects. A web-based support for decision-making resulting from the project allows project practitioners to assess and rank different building solutions in terms of sustainability, enabling a more accurate and conscientious project execution.

The sessions will address the related R&D issues and capabilities of the decision-making tool. Also, case-studies in different building typologies will be presented both for new and renovation projects.
